The
Red Stick
Writing
Teachers’ Collective
is an open network for the
exchange of resources between educators, writers,
community and youth advocates. The collective meets
monthly to exchange best practices, resources, and
to build community among the diverse groups
committed to the common interest of an engaging and
effective literacy education for all Baton Rouge
youth.

*The February 24th WTC will
be held early from 10:30-Noon in room 124, Allen Hall, at LSU for a
special session with visiting poet Jon Woodard.
Jon Woodward’s first book of poems, Mister
Goodbye Easter Island, was published in 2003, his second,
Rain, was published by Wave Books in 2006. He works at the Harvard
Museum of Comparative Zoology, as a photographer.
